About

Evan Heimermann

AA Psychology, NMT, CHC, CES, RYT-200

My introduction to health, wellness, and spirituality came on a personal healing journey abroad, where both yoga and massage therapy had profound impacts on my understanding and experience of health and healing. Trained in both relaxation and clinical massage, I value tailoring each rejuvenating session to the specific goals and needs of the client. I emphasize in my practice presence, compassion, mindfulness, and healing intention. I also take a holistic approach to treatment and seeks to bring movement and health education to people who need it. Outside of my massage practice in Denver, I like to spend time out in nature, meditate, exercise, and study.

In my yoga teaching, I often focus on alignment, mindfulness, and balance. For me, yoga is most beneficial when breath and meditation are intrinsic to the practice, so this shows up in my classes. I value giving guidance and also allowing space for individual experience and awareness to unfold. Having received my 200 RYT from Devanadi School of Yoga and Wellness, my style tends to be a blend of hatha and vinyasa with a holistic and functional mindset. One of my main goals as a teacher is to create a safe and expansive space to help other individuals develop and heal themselves physically, emotionally, spiritually. I have free yoga videos available to enjoy. Namaste!
